To take a screenshoton an Apple/Mac computer, press Shift + Command + 4 at the same time, and listen for the "camera sound." The image gets placed on your desktop, and then you insert your picture by using Insert: Picture in your word document.
To take a screenshot on a PC, press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. It takes a photo of your whole screen, but you can crop the photo to just your image. Then insert your picture by using Insert: Picture in your word document.
